Let’s raise $40,000 for Kurt’s 40th birthday! 

The Anchor of Hull's Annual Frigid Fundraiser is back and better than ever. 

From Halloween through New Year’s, we are raising funds 

that directly support The Anchor of Hull as a community and wellness center. 

WHO: Team Kurt vs. Team Rich 

• Additional Team Members to be announced throughout the month of November

WHAT: Whoever raises the least amount of money has to jump in the frigid ocean in January. 

• We'll video the whole thing, but you can also join us live and in person on Sunday, January 10 at 1pm (start at the Anchor, then head to the beach).

HOW:

1. DONATE to the person/team you want to win. There are a few ways you can do this:

2. SPREAD THE WORD

• Share the fundraiser on your social media! 

• Get your loved ones to support the fundraiser by telling them what The Anchor means to you.

• If you want help crafting a fundraising letter to send to your loved ones, please email Sarah Troxler at sarah@northst.org.

Total Goal: $40,000

Incentive Tiers:

• $10,000 or more - losing Team Captain (Rich or Kurt) jumps in the ocean

• $20,000 or more - The entire losing team jumps in the ocean

• $30,000 or more - The entire losing team jumps in the ocean wearing funny costumes chosen by the winning team

• $40,000 - BOTH team captains + losing team jump in the ocean (still wearing funny costumes)

• $45,000 or more - BOTH teams jump in the ocean

The Finer Details, if you wish:

• The Frigid Fundraiser is our most important fundraiser, helping to set up the Anchor financially for the upcoming calendar year. 

• All proceeds go to The Anchor of Hull. (When you donate on the website, you will see the name of our parent organization "North Street Church", through whom we have nonprofit status, but all finances are kept completely separate.) When you donate, be sure to use the dropdown menu to select "Anchor Frigid Fundraiser" and the team name.

• Donations through our website, with appropriate contact info, will receive a letter for tax purposes.
